"At the Mercy of Torgo!" by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Inker Frank Giacoia shows Reed, Crystal, and Johnny on the trail of the Skrull saucer that abducted Ben Grimm from Earth and bought him to the Skrull Galaxy! On the planet Kral, modelled after 1940’s New York City, after witnessing the Cat-Man defeat the Primitoid, the Thing enters the arena to battle Torgo, a giant robotic giant. After exchanging blows, Ben tries to convince Torgo to rebel with him but the Skrulls put a stop to that with a demonstration of the very real threat posed by their Sonic Disrupter, using it to cause asteroids orbiting their planet to fall into the sun. The battle continues with weapons but some questionable moves soon cause the battle to be stopped and declared to be voided. The FF steal clothes and a flying car and search for Benjy, when they find him, Crystal destroys the sonic disruptor that all of the slaves were told would destroy their home worlds if they did not comply! Torgo frees all the slaves and the FF escape in the chaos and return to Earth after a touching moment when all are relieved to find Ben Grimm still alive!
