This is a well made wood box with sheet metal covering, factory made. I can't find any mfg markings other than "Eagle Lock Co" on the main latch, and abstract eagles stamped on the two side catches. The number "98" is written in pencil on the bottom of the case inside.
The main covering is brown with very light wood grain, the trim is darker sheet metal also. There are no raw edges, all the pieces covered that way are wrapped.
Drawers are all wood with felt covered Masonite bottoms. No snags or stains, just slight coloring from use. There are guides built into the cabinet that engage grooves in the drawer sides. All of the hardware, corners, pulls, catches and reinforcement pieces are present and intact.
Drawer cover panel slides under the bottom drawer, or can be removed completely. Latching the top captures the panel for security.
Outside measurements are 20 1/4" wide, 13" high and 9 1/4" front to back. Bottom drawer is 2 3/4 deep, next wide one up is 7/8" deep and the top four are 7/8" deep also.
The brand name is very likely "National Hardware".
